Acrylic is quite strong, durable and resistant to all kinds of weather. So used as prescribed you should get many seasons out of a Poko.
The main section of the Poko (with all holes, small and large) is strong, and can take some punishment. That section has medium/strong tensile strength when bent. If accidentally bumped off a line it will generally absorb the impact. The weakest point of the Poko is the curved hanging handles - Try not to grab those handles with your hand/s hand on that point alone (with the Poko in a horizontal position) as the counterweight of the Poko body could snap it at that point. Grab your Poko by the main body or the handles in a vertical position
It is ok to grab the Poko by the hanging sections with one or both hands if the Poko is vertical.

Garments hanging in a Poko take a similar time to dry as garments hanging by pegs. Ensure you hang your large, heavier items from the base working your way up with smaller items. Try and hang some items through the back to spread the drying load.
